About Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation

Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation is a nursing home in York providing care for people with neurological conditions and disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation provides personal and nursing care to 19 older and younger people with disabilities across three separate wings with adapted facilities. People and their relatives were very positive about the service, expressing enthusiasm about the qualified and skilled staff who met their needs effectively. The home maintained an appropriate skill mix of employees and implemented daily huddle meetings where staff could share information and raise concerns, providing clarification and feedback on their roles and responsibilities.

Training and support was managed electronically to ensure staff had up-to-date skills and knowledge relevant to their positions. The provider maintained action plans with scheduled dates to address any expired training, ensuring only competent staff provided care and support to residents.
