Woodland Grove

Woodland Grove is a residential care home in Wirral providing accommodation and personal care for up to five people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding shortfalls in cleanliness, safety and governance. Audits were carried out but failed to identify problems with the environment and medication management, and the provider was found in breach of regulations relating to good governance, though inspectors found no evidence that anyone had been harmed.

Inspectors found staff were kind, consistent and knew people well, with strong, warm relationships between staff and residents. Relatives spoke positively about the care provided and felt their loved ones were safe and respected. The provider responded to the concerns raised and had begun making improvements by the end of the assessment.
