Wisteria House Residential Home - Rutland

Wisteria House provides personal care and accommodation to 17 people aged 65 and over. During the inspection, concerns were identified regarding staff practices when supporting people with mobility. Staff did not consistently follow safe techniques and the home had not properly assessed the risks associated with these practices.

The home maintained adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs in a timely manner. The provider conducted appropriate background checks to ensure staff were suitable to work with vulnerable adults, and staff demonstrated understanding of their responsibilities to report safety concerns.
