Windward House

Windward House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 42 older people, with 41 residents living there at the time of inspection. Residents reported feeling safe, supported and happy at the home, with staff observed being kind, caring and treating people with dignity and respect.

The home had quality assurance and governance systems in place to assess, monitor and improve service quality and safety. However, these systems had not been implemented robustly, with gaps identified in how effectively they monitored and maintained standards across the service.
