The Rock Care Home

The Rock Care Home provides residential care and accommodation for up to 14 older people, with ten residents at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated strong safeguarding awareness and knew how to report concerns, protecting people from abuse and harm. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' needs, with appropriately recruited staff who received induction and training to deliver quality care. Medicines were managed safely and administered as prescribed, while infection control protocols were followed with adequate access to personal protective equipment.

Staff treated residents with dignity, respect, kindness and patience. Individual needs and choices were assessed regularly, with care records reflecting each person's specific requirements and risks. Information was provided to staff on how to manage identified risks and reduce potential harm.
