Willows Edge provides nursing and personal care to people aged 65 and over, accommodating up to 39 residents across three floors. The home works closely with hospital discharge teams and multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure people are admitted safely. Staff maintain strong partnerships with occupational therapists to support residents' independence and mobility, helping to prevent the physical decline that can affect frail older people. The service is particularly attentive to residents' mental wellbeing, enabling regular contact with family and friends through measures like a perspex visiting pod that reduces infection risk while allowing meaningful visits. Staff collaborate with family members and community professionals to support residents experiencing low mood and anxiety, ensuring social isolation does not harm their health.
