Wild Acres Care Home

The service has remained Covid-19 free since the beginning of the pandemic, with no residents or staff contracting the virus. Both residents and staff actively participated in a whole home testing programme, with staff tested weekly and residents tested monthly.

The registered manager is committed to providing the best quality of life for people at the home whilst keeping them safe. They adopted a risk-aware approach to support residents in maintaining contact with loved ones and important people in their lives, which had a significant positive impact on their health and wellbeing. Staff effectively prevented visitors from catching and spreading infection through established protocols.
