Huyton Hey Manor accommodates up to 27 older adults, including those living with dementia, across three floors. At the time of inspection, all 27 beds were occupied. People felt safe living at the home, supported by robust risk assessments that were regularly reviewed when needs changed. The home maintained clean conditions with strong infection prevention control procedures in place.

Medication management was safe and staffing levels were adequate to support residents safely. The home had effective processes for assessing incidents and accidents, with the manager reviewing these for emerging patterns. Regular audits were completed to identify areas needing improvement in care provision. Staff were motivated and expressed enjoyment in their work.
