Whiteoaks Rest Home

Whiteoaks Rest Home is a residential care home providing support to older people, caring for 31 residents at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding kind, attentive staff who treated people as individuals and respected their privacy and dignity. Residents spoke positively about their care, felt safe, and were involved in decisions about their support.

Inspectors did identify some concerns around risk management, staffing, medicines and end of life planning, and noted the provider's own systems had not always caught these issues. However, the provider responded promptly during the assessment, introducing new measures to address the risks. Leadership was found to be visible, supportive and open to feedback, with a strong culture of listening and learning.
