Wey House Nursing Home

Wey House Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 31 people, specialising in support for those with brain injuries, complex neurological needs and learning disabilities. The CQC carried out an unannounced review following concerns about medicine management and frequent changes in managers and staff skills, and confirmed the service remains rated Good overall.

Inspectors found sufficient, well-trained staff, safe recruitment and improved medicine management. Leadership had stabilised after previous turnover, with a registered manager, clinical lead and operations manager working effectively together and strengthening governance. People and relatives felt safe and well cared for, though some remained cautious given the history of management changes.
