Weston Favell Houses

Weston Favell Houses is a small care home providing accommodation, nursing, rehabilitation and personal care for up to five people, with four people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, unchanged from its previous rating. Inspectors found staff knowledgeable about people's risks, medicines managed safely, and a multi-disciplinary team supporting effective, person-centred care, though some improvements were needed in care plans, risk assessments, training compliance and governance.

People and relatives described staff and the registered manager as approachable, responsive and genuinely caring. People were supported to build independence and take part in activities such as bowling, art and volunteering. Leaders were found capable and compassionate, embedding shared values across the team.
