West View Integrated Care Centre

West View Integrated Care Centre provides personal care to up to 40 people aged 65 and over across two purpose-built units, one specialising in dementia care and the other supporting older people with varied care needs. At inspection, 20 people were resident, with five living permanently and others receiving short-stay respite care or support following hospital discharge and rehabilitation.

People and their families described staff as welcoming, supportive and caring. The service involves people in planning their own care and supports them to maintain independence and develop new skills. Staff assess people's needs before admission and work closely with other health professionals to support their wellbeing. People are supported with food and drink tailored to their preferences and health requirements.
