West Ridings Care Home

West Ridings Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 180 people with various health conditions, including those living with dementia. The service is arranged across four purpose-built, single storey buildings with disabled access. At the time of inspection, 94 people were using the service.

The home had a system in place to manage medicines, though inspectors identified shortfalls in the storage and management of people's medicines. The service was generally clean, though more thorough monitoring of equipment in the kitchenettes across units was needed.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives.
