Middleton Park Lodge

Middleton Park Lodge is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 43 people, including 42 at the time of assessment. The CQC found care that was often effective and person-centred, with relatives describing staff as compassionate, but inconsistent practice meant this was not always the experience for everyone.

Inspectors found continued weaknesses in governance, with systems for monitoring risk and quality not always effective, and an incident where a person's dignity was not properly maintained. The provider had begun making changes, including new leadership, but the CQC said it was too early to judge their impact, and breaches relating to governance and dignity remained.
