Croft House Care Home

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care for up to 68 people across three separate floors, each specialising in different care needs: dementia care, nursing care, and residential care. The service currently accommodates 46 people. Residents told inspectors they felt safe, with staff described as caring and supportive. Staffing levels were adequate and recruitment followed robust processes.

The care environment was warm and welcoming, with personalised rooms reflecting residents' preferences. The home maintained high cleanliness standards and had plans for improvements and refurbishment. Management provided effective oversight with quality monitoring systems in place, and staff, residents and relatives praised the approachable, supportive management team for creating a culture of effective teamwork. Care was person-centred, with residents involved in expressing their views about the service quality. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible.
