Earls Lodge Care Home

Earls Lodge provides personal care to up to 52 older people, those with physical disabilities, and people living with dementia. At inspection, 47 people were using the service. While registered to provide both residential and nursing care, the home currently admits only residential care clients.

The home uses checks and audits to monitor safety and quality, but the provider's systems did not always effectively identify areas of concern or drive improvements. Inspectors found shortfalls in care management that the home's own quality monitoring processes had failed to detect.
