The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures, including COVID-19 screening forms and temperature checks for all visitors. Visitors and visiting professionals were required to provide proof of negative lateral flow tests, with professionals also demonstrating COVID-19 vaccination status. Staff worked as a team to promote wellbeing and took responsibility for implementing infection control procedures, supported by clear guidance and risk assessments.

The home had invested in additional safety features to reduce transmission risks. Ozone machines filtered air in communal areas, corridors and offices, while automatic doors at the front entrance operated via hand scanning to eliminate the need to touch door handles. Inspectors observed positive interactions between staff and people, demonstrating the team's commitment to maintaining both safety and quality care throughout the pandemic.
