Welcome House - Leeza Court

Welcome House - Leeza Court provides accommodation and personal care for up to 16 people with mental health needs. At the time of inspection, 15 people were living in the home. The service had implemented strong infection control measures, including a dedicated visiting room with enhanced cleaning protocols and requirements for visitors to complete Covid-19 tests. Staff had received infection control training and completed regular Covid-19 testing in line with government guidance. Supplies of personal protective equipment were readily accessible throughout the building, and isolation plans were in place to manage potential Covid-19 cases.

The service maintained regular cleaning schedules and supported people to participate in activities safely during the pandemic. Visiting arrangements followed government guidance, with visitors required to phone ahead to arrange appropriate times.
