Weavers Care Home

Weavers Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 33 people, including older people living with dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. Inspectors found a caring, person-centred service where staff were described as kind, compassionate and attentive. Relationships between staff, people and relatives were warm, and activities were varied and meaningful, helping people stay connected to things important to them.

Health needs were well managed through good care planning and joint work with health professionals. However, the CQC found environmental checks were not always robust, with hazards such as unsecured wardrobes found, and identified that medicines management and governance systems needed strengthening to catch and resolve issues consistently. The home remains rated Good overall.
