Allambie House

Allambie House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 30 people, including some beds under a Discharge to Assess scheme, and supports some people with a learning disability. Following an earlier inspection that found breaches around safe care and governance, the CQC's follow-up found enough improvement had been made to meet those warning notices.

Inspectors found people spoke positively about staff and felt safe, with sufficient staff available and good choice over daily life. However, some records, including medicine management, still needed improvement, staff understanding of fire evacuation procedures was inconsistent, and management oversight, though improved, was not yet fully embedded. Overall the home requires improvement.
