Waterfield House provides nursing and personal care, including support for people living with dementia, for up to 76 people in purpose-built accommodation. At the time of assessment, 54 people were living there. The CQC found the service was performing well overall and rated it Good.
Inspectors found staff managed risks appropriately and investigated incidents thoroughly. People were treated with kindness and involved in planning their care, with good food, meaningful activities, and responsive leadership. Feedback from people and relatives was largely positive, and the culture was one of listening, learning and continuous improvement.
