Washington Lodge is a nursing home providing care for up to 65 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 45 residents were living there. The home provides nursing and personal care as a single contractual package.

People and their relatives were very positive about the care provided, reporting that they felt safe and confident in staff skills. Relatives gave positive examples of how staff had helped improve people's lives since moving to the home. Staff were safely recruited and received induction training from the provider, with training monitored through regular meetings and supervisions.

Staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' needs.
