Walton Heath Manor

Walton Heath Manor provides personal care and support for up to 46 older people, with 38 residents living there at the time of inspection. The service occupies a converted residence with single en-suite rooms spread across three floors. Staff support residents to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone and video calls, and facilitate in-person visits in ways that minimise infection risk, including garden visits and through a visitors pod with a window and microphone system. The service has protocols in place for isolating people with COVID-19, maintains good supplies of personal protective equipment throughout the home, and implements screening procedures for visitors including temperature checks and hand hygiene. Staff have received training on keeping people safe during the pandemic, and both staff and residents are regularly tested for COVID-19.
