About Walsingham Support - Pound Farm

Pound Farm, in Herefordshire, is a residential care home providing personal care and support to adults with learning disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Pound Farm provides personal care to 15 people with learning disabilities, living in five flats across a large site. The service also operates St Marys Court, a supported living service for four people with learning disabilities in a shared home. While the residential facility is larger than typical domestic-style properties and current best practice guidance, the building's design integrates well into the local area, which helps mitigate potential negative impacts.

Staff are discouraged from wearing uniforms or anything that identifies them as care workers when entering and leaving the premises, supporting the service's approach to community integration.
