Ventura

Ventura is a small care home registered to provide accommodation and personal care to adults with mental health support needs, supporting up to seven people. The CQC found the service has improved overall since its last inspection and is now rated good, with people and relatives speaking positively about kind, person-centred care, good staffing levels and safe medicines management.

However, inspectors found governance remained a concern, with the provider still in breach of regulations relating to good governance. Weaknesses were identified in areas such as water temperature monitoring, staff recruitment checks and incident recording. The provider responded positively and was asked to submit an action plan.
