Valley View Court

Valley View Court is a specialist care home providing personal care to adults and older people, accommodating up to 30 people across three units, with a gym and space for visiting health professionals. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding improvements in medicine management, Mental Capacity Act practice, and quality monitoring, meaning the home was no longer in breach of regulation. Risks and incidents were well managed, and the environment was safe.

Care plans reflected people's preferences, and people spoke positively about staff and their independence. However, inspectors found mixed feedback on staffing levels, food quality, communication with external professionals, and referrals, and activities on offer were not considered effective.
