Oakworth Manor Care Home

Oakworth Manor Care Home is a residential care home for older people, including those living with dementia, sensory impairments, mental health needs and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall. Inspectors found staff knew people well and treated them kindly, and people felt safe and well supported with plenty of activities on offer.

However, care plans and risk assessments were of poor quality and did not clearly reflect people's current needs. Meal choices were not properly communicated, limiting informed choice at lunchtimes. Governance and oversight were weak, and the provider was found in breach of regulations relating to management monitoring of care quality.
