Tremethick House

Tremethick House provides residential care and accommodation for up to 42 people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 39 people were receiving support. The service maintains a designated visitor's room with an external door, allowing visitors to meet residents without entering the main building and minimizing infection risks. When visitors need access to other areas, rigorous procedures are in place, and all visitors wear masks and appropriate personal protective equipment. Staff help people stay connected with family and friends through phone calls and internet access, with additional IT equipment purchased to support these connections. The service also sends monthly newsletters to families, keeping them updated about life at the home, and staff provide assistance with using technology and telephones as needed.
