Treetops Court Care Home

Treetops Court Care Home, in Staffordshire, provides nursing and personal care for up to 70 people, including older people, those living with dementia, mental health needs and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found a positive culture of safety, effective infection control and medicines management, and residents and relatives described staff as kind, attentive and responsive.

Governance had improved since the previous inspection and the provider was no longer in breach of regulations. Some staff raised concerns about staffing levels and communication, and inspectors found that people's wider wellbeing needs, including meaningful engagement, were not always consistently met. Further work was needed to build a fully open and inclusive staff culture.
