Tillson House

Tillson House provides residential care and accommodation to 30 people aged 65 and over across two floors, with capacity for up to 40 residents. Staff are appropriately trained in safeguarding and understand how to protect vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect. The home manages people's individual risks safely, with environmental risk assessments completed appropriately. Staffing levels are sufficient with the right skills to provide commissioned care.

Medicines are safely managed with accurate administration records and correct protocols for 'as and when required' medications. The service maintains effective infection prevention and control policies, following best practice and Government guidance for COVID-19 and other infections. Quality control systems identify issues effectively, and when problems arise during audits, the provider develops action plans to improve care and encourage continuous learning. Care records are person-centred, containing detailed information about residents' preferences, routines, life history and interests.
