Thornbury Residential Home

The home accommodates up to 19 older people and provides personal care for those with mobility issues, frailty, and conditions such as heart failure and diabetes. At inspection, 18 residents were living there.

The registered manager had systems in place to assess and manage risks, including medicines management and environmental safety. However, these processes had not identified certain shortfalls. Water temperature testing had not been recorded as required, and medicine protocols had not been transferred when the service changed medicine providers.
