Thornbury Care Centre

Thornbury Care Centre provides nursing and personal care for up to 44 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 39 people were living at the home.

The centre had effective infection prevention systems in place to protect people, staff and visitors. The environment was clean with additional cleaning of frequently touched surfaces and regular deep cleans taking place in residents' rooms and throughout the home. Staff wore appropriate personal protective equipment with sufficient supplies maintained, and the registered manager conducted weekly checks to ensure adequate PPE was always available.
