The Willows

The Willows is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities and autism. The CQC found people were supported by staff who knew them well, with detailed care plans reflecting their preferences, personalised rooms and support to pursue local activities and interests. Relatives were happy with the care provided.

Safeguarding was handled appropriately, with concerns reported and investigated. However, inspectors found staff were not always deployed effectively, meaning those with the right skills and training were not consistently on shift. A new registered manager had strengthened oversight and quality monitoring, supporting an overall good rating.
