Ashlodge

Ashlodge is a detached property near the seafront in Bexhill-on-Sea providing accommodation and personal care for up to 16 older people. The service supports those with physical and health needs as well as people with dementia and memory loss. At inspection, all 16 places were occupied.

Staff supported people to maintain contact with friends and family throughout the pandemic through various arrangements. When face-to-face visits weren't possible, the home facilitated window and door visits as well as garden visits. Visitors were asked to confirm they had completed COVID-19 tests and had their hands sanitized before contact with residents.
