The Willows

The Willows provides residential care to up to 30 older people, including those living with dementia, operating from a two-story house. At inspection, 27 people were using the service. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches possible and acting in their best interests. Policies and systems at the home supported these practices. However, the home was not staffed to the level identified by the registered manager. While people's care needs were being met, they sometimes had to wait for support, and staff were not always able to fully support people living with dementia as required.
