The White House

The White House provides accommodation and care for up to 28 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, the home supported 20 residents. The registered manager and staff team implemented effective infection control procedures, with all staff trained in appropriate use of personal protective equipment. Visitors were required to provide proof of negative lateral flow tests, and all professionals, staff and contractors had received COVID-19 vaccinations. The provider followed current guidance on visiting arrangements and maintained high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, with staff adhering to established cleaning schedules that were regularly monitored by management. Additional cleaning of frequently used areas took place throughout each day, and the service was observed to be clean and fresh-smelling.
