Lady Spencer House

Lady Spencer House provides residential care and personal care to up to 24 adults, including those living with dementia. The three-storey purpose-built home includes communal lounges and a dining room, with most bedrooms containing hand basins and shared bathroom facilities on each floor.

While infection control measures were largely in place, inspectors identified areas for improvement. Some items in residents' rooms required cleaning or replacement, and staff did not consistently use the correct bins for disposing of Personal Protective Equipment. Several bins lacked lids or were not emptied regularly, which posed potential infection control risks.
