The Vicarage

The Vicarage is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to six adults with learning disabilities. At inspection, all six places were occupied. Staff knew residents well and understood how to protect them from abuse, working effectively with other agencies to keep people safe. Residents displayed relaxed and positive body language when interacting with staff, indicating they felt safe in the home. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approach possible and acting in residents' best interests. Comprehensive risk assessments covered all aspects of the service and support provided, helping the home assess, monitor and manage safety effectively.
