Southlands Court Residential Home

Southlands Court Residential Home provides care for up to 26 older people. At the time of inspection, 24 residents were living at the home. The service provides safe care, with one resident commenting: "I feel very safe with the staff." Risk management measures are implemented as restrictively as necessary to protect people's freedom, and residents' rights are protected through appropriate legal processes. Medicines are safely managed, and care files are personalised to reflect individual preferences.

Residents' views and suggestions are actively considered to improve the service. The home supports people to maintain a balanced diet and regularly involves health and social care professionals in care planning to ensure residents receive appropriate treatment and support tailored to their needs.
