Fairfield Country Rest Home

The home provides residential care for up to 32 older people, including those living with dementia, in a single storey building set in a rural location. At inspection, 29 people were living there. Staff prioritise person-centred care that meets people's physical and emotional needs throughout their lives. For those at the end of life, the service ensures care reflects individual preferences and allows people to spend time with those who matter to them. Staff make efforts to help residents access things important to them and create a sense of home. The environment is relaxed and friendly, with people spending time together as part of a community. Residents and relatives expressed confidence that the service is managed safely, and people's opinions are regularly sought.
