This residential care home accommodates up to 45 older people living with dementia, mental health needs and physical disabilities. At inspection, 36 people were using the service.

The home had systems and processes that required improvement. Audits had not always been effective at identifying risk factors or implementing appropriate mitigating strategies. Risks to people were not recorded fully or adequately mitigated, with concerns identified around incomplete documentation of mitigation measures and missing information in care plans and risk assessments.

Medicine management also needed improvement, with records not always completed to identify why as-required medications were administered.
