The Royal

The Royal is a residential care home supporting up to seven people, predominantly those with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. Located on a high street with good access to local facilities and public transport, the seven-bedroom property provides accommodation and personal care support tailored to each individual.

During inspection, the service was supporting seven residents and demonstrated effective safeguarding procedures that protected people from abuse. Staff numbers were adequate to meet residents' needs and had been recruited safely. The home managed individual and environmental risks appropriately and ensured people received medicines safely and as prescribed. Staff provided planned, coordinated person-centred support designed to help residents live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence.
