The Reeds

The Reeds is a care home supporting up to 8 people with learning disabilities or autism, each with their own tailored living space. The CQC found the home overall to be good, with people appearing content, safe and well cared for. Relatives spoke positively about staff support, including help with healthy eating that had improved health outcomes.

Inspectors found risks were generally well managed, though staff did not always follow risk management plans consistently. A breach was identified relating to insufficient review of environmental restraints used to keep people safe, but no evidence was found to support wider concerns raised about staffing or safeguarding.
