The Orchard

The Orchard provides residential care with personal support for up to 14 people, including those living with dementia, across two floors of a modern, purpose-built building. At inspection, 11 people were living there. Staff receive training in safeguarding and abuse reporting, with procedures in place to identify and manage risks to residents. The home maintains adequate staffing with appropriate skills to meet care needs safely, and staff receive ongoing training and management support. Medicines are managed safely and prescribed as directed, while infection control measures protect residents. People are supported to maintain balanced diets and enjoy mealtimes together, with staff liaising with community healthcare professionals to monitor and meet residents' health needs. The provider learns from any accidents or incidents that occur.
