Inspectors found the registered manager and staff had taken action to reduce the risk of a similar event and identified no ongoing safety concerns, so the home's overall rating remains Good.

The CQC found a positive culture of openness around incidents, with risks to individuals assessed and managed well and infection control handled appropriately. Staffing levels were sufficient, and people and relatives described staff as kind, skilled and responsive. Decisions restricting people's freedom for their safety followed proper consent processes.
