The CQC carried out this assessment after an incident in which a person sustained an injury and subsequently died, to check the provider had acted to reduce future risks. Inspectors found the home rated Good overall, with a safe, clean environment, enough skilled staff, and good learning from incidents.

People and relatives said they felt safe and well cared for, praising staff who responded quickly and knew their needs well. Risks were properly assessed and reviewed, and people were involved in planning their own care. Families said the management team was visible, approachable and communicated well when issues arose.
