The Old School House

The Old School House provides care and support for people with learning disabilities and autistic people who have complex communication needs. The CQC found the home was performing well, having resolved previous concerns around medicines management and governance. Audits were now effective and medicines were managed safely.

Inspectors found a caring, knowledgeable staff team who understood people's communication needs and supported them to make choices and build independence. Care plans were personalised, healthcare needs were well met, and relatives described a warm, homely atmosphere with confident, responsive management and good involvement in their family members' care.
