The Meadowgate Centre

The Meadowgate Centre provides personal care and rehabilitation services for up to 40 young adults and older adults across two floors, supporting people recovering from serious illness or hospital stays. At inspection, 18 people were living at the service. Residents were exceptionally positive about their care, with people reporting they felt safe and received the best support. The home worked effectively with other agencies to provide coordinated care and had contributed to reduced hospital admissions, with staff going above and beyond to help people return to their own homes.

Staff were highly skilled, flexible and extremely well supported in their roles. The service had consulted with residents to ensure the environment maximised potential for recovery and rehabilitation. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
