The Martins

The Martins is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 42 people across two floors in four units, with specialist dementia care. At inspection, 37 people were using the service.

The management team demonstrated a positive, person-centred culture and conducted various audits to assess the quality and safety of care. Staff were clear about their roles and the team investigated incidents fully, identifying actions for improvement. However, managers needed to ensure the CQC was notified of significant events within required timescales.
