The Manse

The Manse provides personal care to up to 21 older people and people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, the service was operating at full capacity with 21 residents.

People received their medicines as prescribed. However, systems and processes for managing medicines were not always effective in ensuring accurate recording. The medicines audit was not effective, and while the registered manager gave assurances about improvements, inconsistencies in documentation and audit procedures remained a concern about the overall reliability of medicines management at the service.
